This Arabica dark roast is cultivated in rain forest highlands in the Aceh province, Sumatra, Indonesia. This earthy dark roast has hints of raisins, cloves and caramel. These coffee beans are dried out in the sun such that the bean has maximum contact with the outer cherry layer to be able to acquire its complex flavor.
